I love hand embroidery and it is much more valuable (to me) if done by hand although I love the Brother Innov-ís 4000D

I am always working on more than one project at a time because I will see a new idea and want to make that picture. SOoo.... Show me some of your work so I can get new ideas. I am working on a peacock now, a table cloth with napkins, and some jeans of my DDs. I will upload some pics when my DH comes in with some new batteries for my battery eating camera

Me too, I do a little at a time -- I am not even gonna tell you how long I have been piddling on this one LOL

I usually machine embroider show pads for horses but I am fixing to start one up by hand.

Very pretty!! The embroidery and the cross stitching were passions of mine about 20 years ago, probably been that long since I've done any. I made so mnay tablecloths, wedding cross stitches, rainbow row from charleston, sc, ......and gave all of it away. That up close work wouls seem very tedious to me now and not at all interesting, your work is nice though!!

When I was pregnant I use to do a lot of hand embroidery. But my babies are grown now. and I'm sewing , knitting, crocheting, and quilting now.
But I did start a few projects with a combination of techniques. Some applique, machine embroidery and hand embroidery.

Thanks for the etsy site - I found some really cool things on there! I found a pattern I had been looking for for a looooong time too and it is only 2$!!

I whipped up a really cute chick for a quilt block last night (See, I told ya I would start a new project before I finished one) It was so simple but I think will make a nice chicken quilt

I saw it on google search and free handed it - OR I was thinking it would make a nice throw pillow with some ric rac edge on it......hmm....

I did a bit when I was younger, but right now it's a time management issue, I crochet blankets for the children's hospital and that's all the time I have right now.
