Blue Ridge Mtns. of North Georgia
Lap quilt, Crib quilt or Couch Throw
Approximately 43"W x 55"L
This hand tied quilt in blues and yellows with pieced scrappy backing would make a lovely gift.
It's bargain priced, being my first attempt at tying a quilt, though I have 30 years experience at fine hand quilting under my belt already; priced way below what it would be if it was actually quilted.
Made from high quality 100% cotton fabrics (binding is poly/cotton) and variegated yarn ties.
Batting is Hobbs Heirloom Premium 80/20 cotton
Can also include some extra yarn for more ties if you'd like

Add $5 for shipping on the east coast, $7 on the west coast
Payment by postal money order or cash
Quilt shipped when payment received.

The last sale fell through so this is back on the market!

If payment is not received within one week of your commitment to purchase, the item will be returned to the open classifieds!

... oughta be, due to the excellent quality of workmanship ~'-)

Here, in the Teays Valley area of West Virginia, folks'd be lucky to find a quilted placemat for such a low price, let alone somethin' they could throw over the back of the couch or a chair, to make their home feel so much warmer and inviting ... very unique pattern, too.

Thank you for saying so. It really is pretty and the fabrics are first quality cottons. Would make a nice gift, too. The colors really pop!

I'm no interior designer, but they're always talkin' about colorful accents like this, so as to brighten areas, and create focal points ... could even be framed.

Could certainly be hung on a wall, with the addition of a hanging sleeve or tabs. Bright or deep blues or purples with bright yellow is a no-fail mood bumper-upper!

**for anyone interested in purchasing this quilt, I forgot to mention that the back is pieced with just three large pieces of light blue fabrics I had here, nothing fancy, but good fabrics all the same.

The deep blue-reddish-purple outer border fabric and sashing is a Jinny Beyer fabric for those who know who she is.
