I don't know anything about running a commercial chicken farm....but I'm sure there are others on here that do, they should be along shortly. Good Luck with your farm. :)

I'd say that for starting commercial operations you may be best served checking out the Food and Agriculture websites for downloads - there are some good resources there. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=fao+chicken&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-gb&client=safari. There's also a great online resource called The Organic Farmer. Whilst East African based, Ethiopia is near enough for those resources to be relevant. http://www.theorganicfarmer.org/

If you've never kept chickens before, then starting small and learning is the best way to begin. I wish you the best with your project.

I am no professional at commercial chicken keeping but I do love the art of keeping a flock. Not sure where you would start! But Pork Pie Ken has left you with some great links to get you going. As 007Sean has said, BYC has lots of knowledgeable members, hang around a bit and I'm sure someone can help you! :)
