I raised Bantams as a young boy and enjoyed them very much. They were all mixed breeds and I raised them as a hobby. I am now 73 and thought it would be fun to raise them again. Recently hatched a few mixed standard size and some Buff Orpington also standard size.
Also have some chicks on order (Dominique Bantams and Black Australorp)
Its been so long ago since I took care of chickens that I felt I needed the help of BYC so I joined. Now I will have to build a hen house and run for the Bantams which is something else I enjoy doing.
