Hanging lights a word of warning

We've used the hanging lights with the heat bulbs for years and never had any problems until last Wednesday. Somehow the clip become unattached and fell to the floor of the coop. It burned a large hole in the coop floor before my husband went out to feed and water that morning. The coop was full of smoke and he quickly put the fire out. I just wanted to warn everyone about the dangers of using these lights. I've had 10 chickens to die so far from the smoke inhalation. These were our pets and we loved them dearly. I couldn't even talk about this until now and it's still hard to except. We still have 7 chickens left and hopefully they will pull through and live. The coop looks so empty now and I will forever miss the ones that passed away..
