I have a 4 year-ish old Cuckoo Maren who has a ping pong sized tumor hanging off her mid section. It's very hard. It's dangling and not hanging on by much skin. Any thoughts on what I should do besides the vet? (I realize I may end up there but just brought another chicken in recently for $100 and she died there so trying to keep my costs down in this tough financial times.)
Should I put a rubber band on it to sort of cut off the blood supply? She is otherwise acting completely fine. Eating, Drinking, Pecking at grass....
