Some of you may have seen my posts about Happy, my little quail who’s been on and off dealing with bumblefoot. I’m sad to report that she passed away a few days ago. Despite her illness, I’m confident she lived a good life. She was with her best friend Jasmine, didn’t pluck her feathers, and laid eggs consistently, even on her final day. My only regret is not taking her outside one last time.
