Two of my three drakes went right up the ramp into the house after only tempting them with peas once yesterday! Yay....they got lots of peas tonight!

One of my hens and two drakes ate out of my hand tonight....only one of six has done this before. They were given peas of course, but just the same.

As they begin to get comfortable eating from your hand....slowly brush their neck and down onto their belly....eventually they will let you stroke their back or belly...They warm up to being handled pretty quick when it involves food !
(many hate being touched on the back near the wings or where they can't see).
My drake prefers to eat from my hand....he'll ignore whats in the bowl on on the floor to get whats in my hand. He's somewhat strange though...Hangs upside down in my arms...drinks from a water bottle....tries to eat pictures of cabbage...weird bird, but fun.
