DH & I bought my stepdad a John Deere gas grill for fathers day. He has been wanting one. Friday he bought a new auger and went to pick it up Saturday. The dealership had a few grills on display, he was going to buy one.

I called the dealership and talked to the owner. Told him and asked him to please not let anyone sell my stepdad a grill. Explained that I already had him one. The owner was laughing the whole time I was explaining the situation.

So my stepdad comes home. My mom calls me and he is grumbling and grouchy because all the grills were sold, even the ones on display and they werent going to order any more. He should have just bought one on Friday and now they are all sold out! He will have to wait until next year to get one.

Today is going to be good

Good for the owner to take time and listen to his customer's 'request', he must be someone's dad!!

I bet they had fun 'serving' your stepdad!

I just called my dad for Father's day. He lives in a different country so it was Father's day night over there.
Glad I caught him before he went to bed
