Today is National Poultry Day! Be sure to give your chicks, ducks, geese, turkeys, peafowl or other poultry an extra treat today! My little ladies spent the morning hanging out and being loved by a school full of preschoolers!

Had no idea...thanks for letting us know. I did give my girls a treat today that they haven't had in a while...Crickets!

I had no idea either that it was National Poultry Day. My chickens did get an extra treat - worms from the compost heap. It's so fun to watch them run around with a worm while they try to keep it from the others.
