Hi there, I'm new here as well. I have a flock of 6 pilgrim geese (all ganders!!), 27 chickens, 1 rooster, and 8 ducks, including two new Cayuga hens and three runners. They are all so much fun. The rooster gives me a run for my money as he's really come into his role of protector of the flock, and luckily one of the ganders has bonded with me and often steps in to protect me from rooster wrath.
I grew up in rural PA and now live out in the forest in Oregon. We often have to deal with cougar, fox, bobcat, and large birds of prey, so keeping our flock safe and happy can be difficult.
I'm looking forward to connecting with you all!
