I am a miss placed Australian that has been living in the USA for 10yrs now and in Florida for the last 6yrs on 5acres of lovely pasture land and love the quiet country life for both us and our two daughters (17.5yrs and 2yrs)...I have been trolling BYC for a few yrs now getting tips etc how to keep out all the nasty predators that sadly we have to contend with here in the USA.

We currently have 4 hens a rooster and 2 questionable pekin ducks....Though in Australia I raised Muscovy ducks, the closest I ever got to Pekin was with plum sauce, so needless to say I am finding sexing Pekins a little more of a challenge than I thought I would.

So I am not if I should just post my question here so will start a new threat for my question under ducks
