I have been around chickens all of my life. I first bought my own flock in 2000.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
60

(3) What breeds do you have?
Buff Orpington’s, Lavender Orpington’s, Black Copper Maran’s, Midnight Majesty Maran’s, Plymouth Rocks, White Leghorn’s, Cream Legbar’s, Silver Laced Wyandot’s, Blue Laced Red Wyandot’s, and bantam White Leghorn/Japanese cross.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They are friendly, funny, and excellent garden helpers.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Canning, crafting,Reading, and quilting.
