Happy Winter Solstice!!

Today is the shortest day /longest night of the year. The winter solstice. I'm not a pagen - so I don't celebrate, as such but..........................

From today, the nights get shorter, days lengthen.

Thank goodness for that!!

I'm much happier when the days are longer - and so are the chickens!

I want to snowbird to Santiago Chile, I was there I would be having the longest day. We had a bit of sunshine this morning. I ended up cleaning up the flower beds in the front, It wasn't easy, but it sure looks better.

Well here I am stuck in the Northern Hemisphere, and I am very happy that sun is coming back.
