Would love someone with a lot of hatch experience to answer this if possible, and others if they get this too on there hatches and if so is it on shipped eggs only?

MIne are all shipped from different breeders.

Last 2-3 hatches i seem to get eggs that even some early (less than a week)on have raised dots on the shell that look a little yellowish and likedots of sand .I assume the are weeping. and its drying ..as its hard but can be picked off too.

Anyone know for sure what this is.? thin shell? bacteria?
I looked at one egg and it seems to have a chick forming but its early. I left these in (have left 2 until lock ) Am wanting to see if they grow but am afraid .
I put them way away from the other eggs.

Last 2 times i kept them in for some days then took them out and pitched them at lock ..

When i candled one the other day the egg shell looks thin in spots like white dots of light coming thru(brown eggs) where i guess its leaking if that s what its doing
Someone last time said to throw it out so it wouldnt explode or give bacteria to fly around on other eggs but also said they didnt know what it was but didnt take a chance.

So does any one else get this... and each hatch?

I wash my hands ever y time i handle them so its not that. The bator is clean washed with soap Use bottled distilled water for humidity. What is it?
Did notice the last 2 times they were in the very same spot in the bator when i noticed it each time toward the center back.

It does sound like they are weeping, but I don't know for sure. When you candled the eggs (other than the one you think has a chick in it), were they clear? What happened with the ones you threw out last time? Were they actually clear or did you throw out chicks? I'd say go with your gut. Sounds like you've put a lot of thought into this.

There are actually 3 of these but this is by far the worse. The rest have a dot or 2.

Oh. Those most definitely look like they are seeping.

I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune! It always stinks (literally if you leave them in too long

) to lose eggs! I had to cull over 25 eggs within the last 2 weeks from some bad batches. It is disheartening, but when you DO get chicks, all of the bad experiences disappear. Good luck with the rest!

Henson thanks.Appreciate the response.25!!! Holy Teledo! thats a lot.Hope i have a few this hatch that hatch! Shipped eggs usually not too good but last hatch was wonderful so i have to tell myself cant expect that every time.

Sally thanks for the pics of your eggtopsies.
They are Lavender Orps.
This is day 8 Ill candle day 10 see what i have.See what these look like then
Day 10 I know what they all should look like
.I should be organized like you keep a journal each hatch to look back as you forget details after a few.I did move the 3 to their own bator.
