Hard Molt or....?

It is molting season and I have dealt with numerous molts over the years and this is the first time I have come out to the coop, feathers everywhere and it looks like something deplummed my chicken overnight. She was full of feathers the evening before and the next morning she is almost bare and every move she makes feathers fall off. She is acting like her typical self she just looks like she was ran through a dryer or something. I have experienced hard molts but nothing like this, I was also treating them with dewormer as a yearly routine. Not sure if it overloaded her system or if its unrelated.

Some birds molt gradually. Others have a major rapid loss if feathers. All is okay if your temperatures are moderate. Protein supplementation helps with feather regrowth.
