This is our second time around with chickens. We live in the Fallston/Joppa area and we have foxes, raccoons, hawks, turkey vultures ,wandering dogs, and other predators I don't even want to think about. There are two streams bordering our property and that attracts everyone. A friend is going to build a fortress for the babies this time I would love to have them free range but that's how we lost them last time. They will have a very large run though! I'm still going to be on high alert and inspecting the area daily. How do deal with predators?
