has anyone ever used the GALVANIZED PYRAMID PENS from randall burkley? im planning on ordering a set of 6 for 159.00 for keeping game in.... just wondering if they are good for keeping them in there....

I just took a peek at them and they will keep birds in, but they will in no way keep predators out. The wire has openings that are way too large and there are no closed off corners for birds to hide in. They are an open invitation for a raccoon buffet. Raccoons will just reach in and pull birds out through the wire piece by piece.

I don't think I would use them.

oh ok i havent had any coon problems but i was just gonna raise roosters in them

does anyone know anybody else that sells these for cheaper than 159, i know i would get six of them but that seems alittle too high for me
