8 hours straight? full blast?

whats you water bill?

I FORGOT that i was filling the duck pond because my son was throwing up and started the flu that day... SOOOOO next morning, it sounded like a waterfall........... oops

Wow I hope you have a deep well. Around here it wouldn't really matter too much, especially with all the rain lately. It would just be a mud pit!

Well, my son did the same thing only he was filling the horse trough....drained the well, burned out the pump and $3000.00 (yes, that is the right amount of zeroes) and 30 days later, we had water again.

When the pump burned out, we had to dig the well deeper and install a submersible pump.

I still have nightmares about it....

yeah weve had TONS of rain. Filled my chicken coops up to 8 inches.... yikes.... dug drain holes after that

normally our monthly bill is only $30. Yes it is a well (but its shared?)......

We have well water outside for the animals so it doesn't cost a dime though it goes off at random times sometimes its irratic.

Yes, $385.00. A compression fixture in my summer home popped off, and we were gone for quite a while.

But then again, the water bill for last month for my house in Phoenix was $177, but the lawn is green.

Kind of did that. That's probably about 4800 gallons of water at the most. About 600 cubic feet. Are you guys on a water system, or a well?

When the Canelo fire was headed over the hill towards us this spring, I pumped about 15000 gallons over 8 hours from the well through sprinklers over the hillside. I just figured out on the calculator that the extra electricity cost me about $4. You shouldn't notice much difference in your bill.

I wish my water bill was that cheap.. Mine is usually $75 and I try not to use to much water.. Just minimal.. No long showers. I water my plants with rain water I have collected. But I am on town water..
