has anyone tried food coling to idenify who laying what?

I've tried going out and checking often I got up at 5:00 5:30 6:00 6:30 nothing 7:30 three eggs were layed

ahh

Has anyone put food coloring on their vent to color the eggs to see who is laying what egg??

if so how do I apply it, do I add water or straight?

Try it with a little water added and if that dosen't work then do it straight.
There should be some defference in color with the rir and sexlinks being darker than the barred rock.
