Has Anyone Tried Latrisse?

I've seen an ad on T.V. for Latrisse----a prescription product for people with thinning eyelashes. It's something you brush on at the eyelash line, and it's supposed to cause your eyelashes to grow thicker and longer. I would like to try it, as I've noticed in the last year that I have a "bald spot" in one of my eyelashes, and they don't seem as thick any more overall. The ad does say something about increased brown pigmentation of the colored part of the eye that is irreversible and possible discoloration of the eyelid. Has anyone used this product, for how long, were there side-effects, and did it work?

I would try using castor oil on them and eating more protein first. That stuff will probably come out with even worse side effects in a few years.

One of the side effects is darkening of the skin under the eye. I already have enough of that going on, so I am staying away from that stuff.
