Has anyone tried this heatplate/house?

I just came across this on Amazon. I was wondering if anyone has tried one knows someone who has tried/uses this.
It's cute.

It looks like a home version of an Ohio Brooder.

On general principles, I'd be deeply skeptical of it's size and sturdiness unless I could see and handle it in person before buying it.

And after getting wildly off subject - I haven't used that actual product. It looks like it is effectively just a support structure for a heat lamp. You could do this just as well with a heatlamp hanging from a rod above and it wouldn't concentrate the heat as much (making it easier for the chicks to self-regulate as they can come and go as they need to).

However, in seeing some disasters being posted out here, I'm likely going to be stopping the heatlamp concept entirely and switching to a heat plate for safety.
