Has anyone tried to gender guess an egg? What do you do to guess genders after hatching?

Okay, I started this thread in the incubating/hatching

I am wanting to include duck theories too! Does anyone have any superstitions, methods, old wives tales, and etc, they use to sex prior to hatching and after hatching?

So, we just read one for the ducklings which said if the ducklings wings have black spots on the tips it will be a drake, if the tips are plain yellow it will be a duck. It didn't say if this is for every breed, so any thoughts?
