Suburbanhomesteader, straw bales as a wind break are a great idea. I also like lurky's idea of putting a top on it. One of those sheets of plastic roofing material, plywood, a piece of sheet metal or a piece of wire fencing with a tarp or piece of plastic over it would all work. I guess it would just depend on what you had laying around or what you felt like getting.
