Has anyone used a Stinger insect killer? The kind that zaps?

I just bought a Stinger mosquito zapper, the kind with the blue light that plugs in for our patio, but curious if anyone had any luck using one in their coops?

I have one just outside of my garage/chicken house. I bought it when the mosquitoes got so bad the chickens combs were bleeding.

Mine kills mosquitoes like a charm ! Moths get stuck on the wires and have to be cleaned off with a brush. I am thinking about making a cage out of fine mesh wire to keep the moths out but allow the mosquitoes in.

It also kills flies . . . . . .

In my experience they are almost useless on flies. It gets them when they happen to land on it, but flies are not attracted to the light. They do get a lot of mosquitos and moths, though.

where did you get it? how uch was it? i want one but havent seen one at the store.

Wal~Mart has them, $25 or so.
