Has anyone used BlueSeal Feed Brand?

Has anybody ever used Blueseal Feed Brand? Or know anything about it? Currently I am trying to decide between switching over to Purina brand for my flock or Blueseal brand.

Both are vegetarian feeds, no preservatives, and Blueseal has a both regular feed and certified Organic line...

SO what do you all think?

I used BlueSeal feed for several years. My hatch rate seemed to be very low. I now feed Southern States feed. I will get to see if my hatch rate is higher on the different feed.

I use Blue Seal layer feed. No complaints here.

My egg production was good. Plenty of eggs. Good shells. Just hardly any babies when they started to set. Hens young, Roos young and lots of activity in the pens. Eggs had fertile spots in them but very few hatched. Don't know what the problem was. I'll see if there is any improvement this year.

I have used blue seal feed for all of my animals throughout the years (cows, goats, dogs, chickens, turkeys, ducks...). I feel like its a great brand and provides great nutrition. My chickens and turkeys are currently doing very well on blue seal layer crumbles. I have always had good hatch rates on this feed. They lay very well and have great plumage. Another good thing about blue seal is they do not change their feed formula and always use the same ingredients in the same proportions. This is especially important for horses or other animals that are feed sensitive. Other companies change their formula and fill in the mix with cheaper ingredients if they are available; same nutrition but it can cause problems.
