.... Predator Mites....

Good Afternoon Peoples

My mum was researching treatment for red mites and came accross a blog and the person said they used
these predator mites that are much smaller than red mite, but only eat red mite (they don't go on the chickens),
apparently they die off much easier (heat/water etc) and will just happily plod along eating up all the red mites.

I was wondering if anyone has heard of them or used them etc?? Thoughts please
