I am in need of finding a good home for our 1 yr old RIR Rooster. He has been hand raised from 6 days old and is absolutely beautiful! The only problem is he has become very aggressive and attacks me and my kids. I do not want to use him as stew meat so I am looking for a better suited home for him. Just FYI for future reference, I just learned tonight not to hold and be so friendly w the Roos because they end up feeling they are at the top of the pecking order . . . Even over the humans and start attacking. I'm new at this but wanted to share what I read here on BYC so you don't have to wonder or having to keep getting rid of Roos. Best wishes!

This is literally the exact same post I need to make to rehome my rooster. I have the same breed, same age, and same issues. How did you end up rehoming him? Was it on this forum or do you know of another good outlet? Thanks!
