It's that time again for spring chickens! Tonight I will be putting my 20-25 eggs in the incubator to start developing! I'm really excited for this and will be posting updates and step-by-steps and I might have to ask questions! This will be my 4th time doing this and it's been pretty lucky for the most part, but sometimes things go wrong! When I get home I will take a picture of what I have and label the mommas best I can!

Hey all! Just put in my 28 eggs tonight!!! I’m so excited! Come back on the 15th for updates on if they have an embryo! My sisters and I are all hatching them together so we split them up. I have 9 eggs.
(1) 1/2 barred rock x 1/2 RIR
(1) White Leghorn x 1/2 RIR
(3) 1/2 Americana x 1/2 RIR
(4) 1/2 RIR x 1/2 RIR (These usually turn out GOURGEOUS)

Actually gonna candle tonight. I'm really nervous. Just got a new incubator, and not gotten the hang of it yet. Its going from 45-55% humidity randomly, and then goes from 99.1-100.5 degrees and I hope that the reader is just wrong and they will be ok.

AHHHHHHHH 27/30 Eggs are developing and are ok for sure. 1 Egg (the second pic) looks like it MAY have a blood ring. We left it in the incubator. I’m not sure if it IS ACTUALLY a blood ring. Maybe someone could tell? 2 eggs look like they have an air sac, but can’t see a lot of veins. We left them in the bator, too. Will check them again on day 14. I’m super happy! I was for sure nothing was gonna be there. But low and behold, we have embryos! Sorry the pics are blurry, but veins are definitely there!
