Hatch egg position preference

Ok so I am current debating on getting a different incubator. A thought just came to me. Some incubators have eggs on their sides and others are sitting upright.

Which do you prefer? Have you seen any difference if you have had the chance to experience both ways?

Post the reasons if you have a preference.

My only incubator turns the eggs on their sides or I just hand turn them. I did use an upright turner one time and I got a bad hatch rate. I blame myself as it was my first time hatching though.
