ive just put my second hatch in the incubator tonight. i got the 12 eggs free as i only got 5 fertile and 2 ducklings out of the last 12
these ones were covered in duck poo so i had to give them a scrub first. i have one with a faint crack in it and one with what looks like a 'free' air cell. i have one blueish coloured egg and one huge one which, having just read another post, i think might be a double yolker. although there were geese in with the ducks too and these eggs came straight from the nest boxes.
so your guess is as good as mine when i comes to trying to work out what im gonna get out of this hatch.
me, hubby and 3 kids are gonna pick a number and guess a breed to see what hatches and when.
ill let you know what numbers are left when the two youngest have picked theirs tomorrow and you can join in!!
there were campbells, aylesburys, cayugas, indian runners and silver appleyards in there as well as the geese!!
