Hatch Report

So my hatch is all done. I set 12 eggs candled on day 14 and found 2 unfertilized, so I am left with 10. I had 6 hatch on there own and are doing well. 2 piped but died shortley after and then 2 didnt hatch at all. My humidity was between 30 and 50 for the first 18 and then between 62 and 68 for the lock down. I don't have an egg turner so it was done by hand 3 times a day. Any pointeres for next time? I would like to know if I am doing something wrong.

Of the chicks or the ones that didnt hatch?

Of the ones that are alive. Did the chicks that made it come out sticky? If so, you may need to raise your humidity.

You say your humidity was between 30 and 50%. That is a big swing. You need to keep it more closer to 50-55% for the first 18 days. Your last three days were better, not much of a gap there. IMHO, stability is more crucial than the numbers.
