I'm so excited! My little bantam hen hatched out my black and white EE's blue egg. The rooster is a BO (or BO cross, maybe?)
the chick is yellow, and has a black spot on its head. is that a way to tell the gender?

No, it wont' tell the gender, it is just color/pattern of the chicks fluff.
