Well , my broody Buff Orpington hatched out nine little ones, my one friend told me to put 10 eggs under her and another friend said to put 15, so I went for 14 . 9 hatched out , 1 was rotten and 4 were dead in the shell, so I guess I should have listened to the first guy and went with 10. Live and learn. Some of these I'm sure are pure buff's and the others are a cross between red sex link hens and buff rooster. I see a couple are yellow with a brownish red streek going down the middle of their head. My Daughter absolutley loves them and I would post their pic here but I don't have a clue how to!!
