Hello! I am duck obsessed and just wanted all the cuteness I could get last year. So we have a mixed flock. This year my oldest two daughters got an incubator for Christmas so we hatched out our first round of eggs on our homestead. I don't care that they are mixed and we wanted to see what fun looking ones we would get. So I'm going to post pictures of our first batch and try to keep it updated as we go. I do not know much about duck breeds or crossings so if you want to tell me something, feel free to do so. We had thought of Ancona drake was the dominant breeder but by the looks of the babies, maybe not so much lol
Our flock that these babies came from is comprised of females: ancona, silver apple yard, Perkins, and a couple khaki Campbell/silver supposed cross. Our Drake's are a Cayuga and an Ancona.
