Hatched some Chocolates and a couple Violets I think

Peeps can you verify these keets are chocolate and violet ? I bought the choco eggs on Ebay and ended up with 9 chocolate babies, some seem darker than others.

I see at least 1 Violet and a couple Chocolates in that batch. Several Royal Purples and a couple Pearl Greys too...

The little guys with white wings and broken/squiggly head stripes will be Royal Purples, the darker keets that have the wide center head stripe will be Pearl Greys.

Great, thanks for the info Peeps Its crazy to me that we have chocolate and blue males as well.....but they apparently didn't get to the hen ;( I was hoping to have a variety hatch. Blessed that we have what we do. The hen is still sitting on 5 eggs and has 22 keets w/her.

What color is your Hen?
The males may have bred her, but the dark grey color gene is dominant and can cover up/smother all the lighter colors, even if both parent birds are light colored (and just carrying the dark color gene in their background).

Good morning Peeps! Our hen is royal purple. Now that she's done w/the eggs and the 22 keets have hatched she and a pearl gray male are hanging out together. He's very protective over her.
