Hatcheries near Tennessee?

About gave up the hunt for finding someone near me to sell me some birds. Instead I think I might take my chances with chicks but I would like to go to the hatchery myself and get them. If it is at all possible that is. Does anyone know where I can find a list of hatcheries by state?

In Cleveland, you are very close to poultrylady. She's a BYC member who sells a lot of birds, and she is said to have good stock.

I think there is one in Lawrenceburg- maybe Chick-N-Coop??? and I think there is one in Franklin- check the Nashville Craigslist

Chick-n-coop seems to only have layer chickens. I'm looking for silkies.

Na hun, nothing personal. They are great birds. I just don't like the partirdge color variety in silkies.

Has your TSC already done their chick week or whatever it's called? I was able to pick up 6 light colored silkies for another BYCer a couple weeks ago. Not sure what they'll all turn out to be, but at least one was white, one looked like it could be buff, one looked like maybe it could be splash.
