Hi all, i have some eggs that are in lock down tomorrow and others that aren't until 1 week later. I didn't realise that guinea fowl take 1 week longer. I have been looking for another incubator and have even tried making another but haven't managed to find one or complete the one i started to make in time.

Is it possible to divide my incubator in to 2 sections which will somehow allow the temperature to flow around but keep the higher humidity to one side with the eggs that are in lock down.

If i can't do that will the giunea fowl be more likely to die due to the high humidity or should i try to have a humidity level slightly higher for the guinea fowl that aren't hatching for another week and have slightly lower humidity for the eggs that are ready to hatch. Around 65-70%.

Your not going to be able to have two different humidity climates. There is little to worry about with the higher humidity for a few days, candle after chickens hatch and determine if you need to run dry for a few days or all the way to lockdown to get the air sac to catch up in the guinea hens.

You can divide your incubator to separate the chicken eggs from the guinea so they don't play foot ball with them after hatching.
