So I am having some silkie eggs shipped. And I want to guarantee the best hatch rate.I have an incubator with an automatic turner. And built in humidity and heat sensor, alarm. My questions are.Which end do I put up,when putting them in the incubator? And what day should I take out the automatic turner? And any other tips are welcome. Thanks in advance.

You might better state the Incubator you are using----so many that have the built in meters are way off--eggs doomed from the beginning--------always check the built in meters with a accurate one to make sure----Small end of egg always down! With shipped eggs---make sure the small end is down and Let the eggs settle for a day before setting in the incubator. Some will go ahead and put them in the heated incubator but wait a day or two before turning the turner on. Good Luck
