I have 3 chicks that our piping today is lockdown day but the incubator is still turning, I’m afraid if I open it I will shrink wrap the 3 how do I do this without harming any of them?!

What day are you on?

Also, you won't shrink wrap them if you open the incubator. That's a myth. It takes several hours of low humidity to cause shrink wrapping.

Do you need to take all the eggs out to get the turners?
Egg cartons are useful tools, when it comes to removing turners. It's what I do.
Briefly move them to an egg carton on the table, take the turner out, add extra water to the incubator to boost humidity, & place the eggs on the platform for lockdown.

Thank you!! We took the turner out laid down the eggs and up the humidity, they seem to be fine

Ok thank you day 18, we took the turner out lay down the eggs and up the humidity
You're welcome.
I've had chicks hatch early before, I've had chicks hatch later, & I've had chicks hatch right on time. It varies occasionally. I wouldn't worry unless any hatch with unabsorbed yolk.

Make sure your humidity isn't too high.

I do wanna know if you're using separate calibrated thermometers, & hygrometers to monitor conditions in the incubator?
