Finally found a lady that had fertile eggs and they are Brahmas. I've never had Brahmas but can't be choosy these days.
So I bought 3 dozen and a new incubator. We'll see what happens!

Nice! What color are they? Brahmas are probably my favorite breed in the flock if only because they are beautiful and don’t mind the cold. They have quite the personality too, I’ve seen both my buff and dark brahmas chasing the squirrels under the bird feeder.

I’m hoping to hatch a handful of my brahma eggs (covered by blue copper maran) to see how they do as meat birds and possibly get a replacement roo with a comb less likely to be frostbit.

The lady sent pics and she has an assortment of hens. Whites, silvers, browns, etc. IDK the exact names the purists call them 😎. The rooster was kinda Golden with red wing and white tail feathers.

How do they do in the heat? Our Summers can get 90+ with 60% humidity for weeks at a time.
Mine did fine last summer but then they were just a few months old and still feathering up so I can’t say for sure how they will do this summer. He can have 90+ temps and super humid weather here too.
