Question is, after the hatch, how l ong do I keep them in the incubator? Are they removed ASAP, or let them fluff out for a few hours beofre putting in the brooder?
Thanks

GIVE THEM a few hours to dry and fluff then move them. Do not allow them to spend prolonged time in the hatcher as they will need food and water much sooner than chicken or other chicks...

I don't have a set time period for mine. I take them out when they are fluffy and alert. Sometimes this is only an hour, sometimes 5+ hours. Depends on the baby.

I wait until they are fluffy and dry. If they hatch after 9 pm, they are staying the night in the hatcher. I have never left one more than 12 hours though. They will dehydrate fast and need food with in 24 hours to get a good start.
