Hatching chicks need help

I just had a chick hatch but it seems to have something like blood and other things coming from the but. It just hatched, I did help it a bit but then I realized it was a big mistake since the chick still has things sticking out.. will it survive? It’s been an hour or so it’s still chirping in low volume

Possibly won't because they absorb the yolk as they are pipped in the shell. Assistant hatching can go horribly wrong if done too soon.

Place it in a margarine container with paper towels and keep in the incubator till it finds its legs.

Possibly if you just leave it alone totally in a container in the incubator. Could take another 12 to 24 hours.

I use higher sided containers. But yes that might work?
