Is there a certain age where my chickens will try to hatch chicks? They are 9 months old

There is no one answer to your question. What breed or breeds are your chickens? Are they hatchery birds, or from a smaller breeder? Some chickens go their whole lives without going broody, while others are about impossible to keep from being broody.
