Hatching day!

Today marks the day of my new chicks one has hatch and the other beside it is in the process! I do have some questions, I have things to do during the day from 6am-5pm and I am afraid the chicks will get sick from pasty butt during hose hours, how can I assure that nothing bad happens during my day that i am out? (So proud of my strong chicks)

That long will not be enough to cause a problem. If it needs it wipe its butt when you get home. Pasty butt is usually from stress or being in a brooder that is too hot. Make sure your brooder has a cool spot and that it isn’t too hot under your heat source.
