I'm new to using an incubator and was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the recommended number of times the eggs need to be rotated.

They are supposed to be turned 4 times a day. I am using an automatic egg turner. Tomorrow is Day 25 for my eggs so they will be taken out of the turner! Hope everything goes well with your hatch!!

ps Make sure you watch the humidity!!!

I rotated my duck eggs at least three times a day, sometimes 5. It should be an odd number of times.

3-5 is best. You don't want them to end up on the same side every night. Good luck.

The humidity should be around 55%-65% during the first 25 days, then 3 days before hatch day, or "lock down" the eggs are stopped turning and the humidity is increased to around 75%-85%. The temp should be around 99.5. We are on Day 25 today, took our Call and Cayugas out of the turner increased our humidity and hope to see some pipping or ducklings on Monday!!!
