It’s my first time hatching duck eggs by myself and if there is any tips you could give me about either the hatching or looking after them after they hatch that would be great.

I am going through the same thing right now. How are your eggs today? We noticed the external pip night before last with no noticeable progress since then. Holding onto hope, but starting to worry.

Confirm your temperature of the incubator at egg height. Directions that come with the incubator can be confusing and not always the best advice for use in all areas. Ducks need similar humidity as chickens meaning around 30% in the beginning over 60% in lockdown. Start lockdown at day 26.They do not need sprayed with water. A cell phone flashlight makes a good candler.
