Hatching ducks under chickens?.. Help!

I have heard of people setting duck eggs under chickens. Is there anything different to do than with chicken eggs? I have set a total of 16 eggs under two different broodies. I just wanted to make sure this was gonna work. TIA for any help.

It will be fine. Your only issue is when the ducklings hatch, and foster mom leads them off the nest and they all jump in the nearest water bowl they can find. Chicken mamas freak a little bit at this

When you hatch chicken eggs under a broody duck, the duck mom WILL lead them to the nearest body of water for a swim so you have to be careful they can't drown.
