Hatching ducks

After a duck hatches how long does it stay in the incubator before you take it out

Really just until it’s dry.

I leave mine in for around 3 hours.

I leave mine in there until they can walk around. Ducklings who go under a heat lamp need to be able to walk away if they are too hot. So they are not safe to come out of the incubator until they can walk/scoot/get somewhere else.

For strong ducklings, that may be a few hours. For weaker ducklings, it can even be overnight.

i leave mine for about 10 to 12 hours to make sure they are walking and dry
