Hatching Egg for chicken

Of course it is , and you will only have one chick to hatch. Or none, if something goes wrong. Silly question: Why do you only have 1 egg?

Hey there Josh Small

Yep, I agree with cavemanrich one egg is fine. I too am intrigued as to why only one?

Because there is the chance of the egg not hatching, definitely keep a track of the time she started to sit. Most with hatching eggs know when they are due but even if we do not, the fact that some of the eggs have hatched is a good indication that others that have not days later are not going to.

With one egg, if you do not keep a track of how long she has been sitting, you will have no idea when it is due to hatch unless you candle it.
